“There’s No Equality In Marriage; Your Husband Is Your Lord, Not Your Friend” – Man Says
Man cites scriptural verse as he opines that equality doesn’t, and cannot exist in marriage.
The man identified on Facebook as Achiever Darlington Onyelike took to the platform to say that there cannot be two heads in a home.
Achiever Darlington argued that just like how God is the head of the church, the man is the head of the house.
Citing a Bible verse, he argued further that a man cannot be his wife’s best friend; he can only be her Lord. He claimed that majority of women who had married their best friends have divorced.
He added also that it is impossible for a man to devote his whole attention to his woman all 24 hours of a day.
In his words;
“There is no equality in marriage, stop confusing yourself, there are no two heads in a home, just one and that is your husband. Your husband is the head of the family just like God is the head of the church.
Your Husband is not your friend, he is your Lord ( 1 Peter 3:6). Majority of those that claimed to have married their friend have divorced the marriages. And there is no way your husband can give you 24hours attention, wont he go to work and make money for the family? that means he Will stay with you from morning till night? It’s not possible, let’s stop deceiving ourselves on social media. Even a jobless man can never give a woman 24hours attention.”
